Tariffs aren't paid by foreign sources. They are paid by domestic sources who import foreign goods.

Exactly. There’s no ideological consistency anymore. It’s just whatever Trump does is good, any criticism is bad. It’s the cult of personality effect, and it can be dangerous. I voted Trump and think he will do an overall good job, but it’s dangerous to think the man is infallible. We need to hold him accountable to stick to conservative values

Love Trump, but the thing I fear about this is adding an ERS and still keeping the IRS functioning as is. I just can’t envision the swamp letting him tear it down, it controls us all too much

The USA did not have IRS or the income tax that we have until this recent era in American history.
The USA was a superpower with thriving economy before the income tax.
The people who wrote the economic books and tax books are like the Socialists and Communists in not understanding anything in the real world. Only a fool believes that our current tax system is a good system, and only ones with common sense would look at returning the tax system to where it was before the income tax.

For starters, corporations don't pay taxes. Shareholders do. They pay them as "corporate tax" and then they pay tax when they realize their gains.
And if you want to take it a little further, customers pay those taxes.
The only entity able to pay a tax is a human being. A company can no more pay a tax than a chair can pay a tax.

I don't like that he wants to create another agency. As it is, government is far too big as is.
