Senate Bill 1674 would make it a misdemeanor for an adult to refuse to immediately leave a restroom “designated for the opposite sex” when “asked to do so by another person present in the restroom.” Penalties would be up to 60 days in jail or $500 fine.

And just for the record, the Florida legislation is current news and is a direct juxtaposition to the 2020 election loser DeSantis will beat for the nom, so yes it’s very relevant.

Acknowledging that something is a political hot potato isn’t the same as agreeing/disagreeing it.
NC did take strong action, and the way they went about it did cause problems.
