Again. No ability to make or argue actual points….so you call one of the very few Mexicans on this board racist. That’s fricking racist. You’re a caricature.

No. I say uneducated because you are clearly uneducated. Not able to muster a salient point. Just mutter “racist!”

They have and continue to play these cards so it's not like we started this.

if tariffs go away, this country is in big trouble. Kiss that stock market goodbye.

Hmmm...so removing a tax would cause the stock market to go down? Really interested in that stupid logic.

They have not.

The last time the left tried this, they did it when trying to pass a law (hence the "infrastructure" joke earlier ITT).

Nothing could be further from the truth. It will create less uncertainty in the manufacturing sector. The companies that contract the manufacturing jobs will be able to forecast more accurately and proceed with needed projects.
Here is something else some people forget: if the tariff increases are deemed unconstitutional, all of the manufactures will be reimbursed from the federal government for the increased tariff amount that they have paid over the specified period, putting a lot of money back into a lot of American companies.

Democrats are more highly educated ...
And yet they're so hopelessly inept that their party is hemorrhaging members by the hour and the party is running on fumes. I'll never understand where the guy with a Gender Studies degree gets the idea that he's somehow more intelligent than the guy with the high school diploma who runs an HVAC business.

Really? I guess I imagined their faux out cries of needed gun control and how they still bring up their other patron saint Perditio Climatis.

Don't need 'em - they got plenty of tables under which vast amounts of "USIAD-type' filthy lucre can be transferred.

Option 1: Go to Congress and get a tariff law passed. We're not in bad shape and there is no emergency. With majorities in both Houses, Trump can push forward a big beautiful tariff law. It would get done late this year or early next.

Passing it in Congress lets everyone involved in the export/import business know exactly where they stand. Much better for commerce.

OR Congress could actually act and pass the tariff legislation. HA! That will never happen.

All they need to do is pass a law giving a president authority to impose up to 100% tariffs on a country for up to a year for the purpose of forcing a trade negotiation. They can be reinstated year after year if the targeted nation is determined to not be negotiating in good faith or refuses to negotiate
