Germany basically declared bankruptcy after WWIi. Germany even changed it's currency from Reichmark to Deutchmark after WWII. So no, Germany has no legal claim to any Nazi gold. I inherited from my mother and still have today 2 10,000 Reichmark municipal bonds dated 1925 issued by Germany and they have zero value. I believe you had 10 years after WWII to turn them in for pennies on the Reichmark.
