This is different in that it was intentional. A killer wanted to kill him and barely missed, and killed and wounded others in the process. How can you seriously compare this to an unintentional hunting accident?
Since you don't seem to see the seriousness of what happened, why don't you get someone to intentionally line up 100 yards away with an AR style rifle and graze the top of your ear with a shot? It's an almost impossible shot, and most likely to go very wrong 9 times out of 10 that close to your brain...Get your hunting buddy with the best aim and pray he doesn't jerk, not even a little when he fires, are you stupid enough to do something like that?
