Welcome to any job, anywhere.

This is why you want unionization? Holy shite... If you would have ever managed union personnel, I promise you this would NOT be your view.

Ironically, unionized nurses drive up wages for non unionized nurses more than they do for themselves. People like me gladly pay more to avoid having to interact with people like you. Which creates a competitive environment that attracts the best nurses.

Unionized nurses means a lower standard of care, lower entry requirements, and higher medical costs.

Is your claim that hospitals with non-unionized nurses charge less for services than hospitals with unionized nurses?

(Didn’t want this to get lost in the shuffle because I’m very curious about the figures that inform your argument)

It's funny, but that self-aggrandizing battle-cry is the mantra of THE MOST pathetic Liberal women in existence.

The more they peacock about themselves, the more pathetic they are in real life.

Oh my. (A) Your math is off. (B) College coaches are fired for fielding a poor quality product. Hospital CEOs are not.

Granted, it's a generalization, but most hospital CEOs transferred to an executive role in virtually any other industry, wouldn't last a year.

Our workers went on strike in 2019, ended up settling for less than the company offered, but got some concessions on scheduling.

Now, half the fleet sits idle because we cant hire people or staff properly.

Union personal suffer from mass psychosis and make poor business decisions because of it.

It will be a very basic minimum of human interaction.

You said youve never managed unionized workers before, are you in for a surprise.

Youll need higher levels of staffing to cover for the laziness.

But the AFL-CIO report neglected to include the average salary for all CEOs in the U.S. in 2016, which, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, was $194,350. These same union leaders who criticize the salaries of CEOs earned on average $252,370 in 2016 — nearly $60,000 more than their private-sector counterparts.

No Rog, in this case, that is simply untrue. Keep in mind, we are (A) talking specifically about Hospital CEOs, not CEOs in general. (B) We are talking specifically about dismissal for fielding a poor quality product, not numbers.

Odd that women overwhelmingly choose nursing instead of say business administration and management.

Sounds like you have an istitutional/ management problem. Maybe, just maybe, the maybe the word gets out to the pool that you try to attract that your place of employment is not all that desirable? Even with the crappy union contract?

The CEO might not be easily replaced but a bunch of other admin are.

The cost of hospital administration has skyrocketed compared to the cost of paying nurses and doctors

Hospital admin are the ones benefitting from our healthcare premiums going up
