It’s my land now. Not my fault their ancestors were too weak/gullible to hang onto it.

I wander all over the town I live in, guess I own all of it.

How many Indians were there anyway? A few million? Sure, they owned everything

There are several tribes who would like to show you the tribal maps before the Lakota came as well.

Liberal logic on this seems to be that since the people who stole the land looked like the people they stole it from, THAT makes it still continuous ownership.

As if had the Germans successfully conquered and kept half of Russia, that wouldn't even qualify as taking lands because he'll...... They were both white!!!!!

Must liberals politicize every freaking aspect of life?

Yes. The answer is yes.

I've both liberal and conservative friends and one thing I noticed routinely:

Conservative friends rarely, if ever, talk/discuss/introduce their politics into any social interaction regardless of how appropriate it might be.

Liberal friends always talk/discuss/introduce their politics in to any social interaction regardless of how inappropriate it might be.

I don't give a shite what happened a hundred fifty years ago when it came to who was on what side of the Civil War, I sure as hell am not going to lose sleep over what happened 400 years ago when the continent was settled by Europe.

As more and more communities recognize October 14th as Indigenous People's Day

bullshitee lmao. No they aren't

Sadly it's right. Virtue Signaling List

Even JBE brought LA into the fold this year. Have a separate day for them to celebrate, but taking another in the name of virtue signaling is just stupid.

October 14 proclaimed to be Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Louisiana

In 2019, Indigenous Peoples’ Day will be recognized October 14.

WAFB reported on Sept. 16 that Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said the state will officially recognize Indigenous Peoples' Day for the first time on Oct. 14, 2019. “I am proud to proclaim Indigenous Peoples’ Day to recognize the contributions of Native Americans in Louisiana.” Edwards said to the outlet. “My administration has prioritized working with the tribes through our Office of Indian Affairs to award scholarships and establish the Native American Commission to ensure issues important to Native Americans in Louisiana get the attention they deserve.”

Edwards' announcement came after a 27-year-old Louisiana woman named Baley Champagne reached out to the governor's office requesting that he sign a proclamation to formally recognize the day, WAFB reported. Champagne told the outlet that she received notice that the governor would do so on Sept. 11, 2019.

Is there like a cut off date to determine who owned what? Because that Indian tribe took from another Indian tribe who took from a different Indian tribe which was extinct before the white settlers arrived...
