I posted a December, 2018 article where Gowdy said that Paul Ryan was the current-day politician who was most like one of our Founding Fathers.

Trey Gowdy could've been a GREAT Congressman (and more). Much smarter than most of the others. But unfortunately, he's either been bought-off or blackmailed. Or, maybe both.
God bless Matt Gaetz for telling the truth about that little fraud. Now, here's hoping that Matt Gaetz will stay true to his calling. The Swamp has a way of getting most of them dirty.

Dude is a freak, just look at his hair...he would be a good character in a silence of the lambs sequel. I could see him as the good DA but than teaming up with Hannibal and getting his freak on. Bottom line, he Is a fraud and should just move to Hollywood and be a Fred Thompson of the day

Lindsey Graham is a lot like Gowdy. They can either say nothing and do nothing. Or they will increase their rhetoric while doing nothing. They just like to grandstand in front of the cameras to get votes in S. Carolina and it works. Works in my state too. (Sessions comes to mind)

Like most GOPers, talks good fight when they are not in power, but in power they suddenly can’t do anything. There’s only about 10 in the House and the Senate that are really worth a damn. The rest are there for the bean soup and to get rich.
