I've seen a lot on this Board that folks associate transgenderism with "mental illness".

Curious: do these same folks also still believe schizophrenia is demonic possession and infertility is the result of moral turpitude?

ETA: my point being, just because a person doesn't understand something does not mean that it's "evil", "bad", or "against nature" - it just means the person does not understand something.

I often wonder what happens in a liberals life that makes them think this way. Bullying? Dad was mean? Mental illness?

Rationalizing cutting of ones genitalia should be viewed as what, in your mind? Heroic? Frankly, if you're in favor of this and not in favor of the Muslim practice of mutilation, you're a bigot, IMO.

It is a mental illness.

It is no different than those individuals who believe they are amputees and cut their own limbs off.

What?

Schizophrenia is also a mental illness.

Infertility is a biological process secondary to many possible causes.

Why are you furthering mental delusions?

"Against nature"?

Mental illness occurs in nature. You are simply ignoring reality for the sake of "feelings".

One is voluntary and one is involuntary.

Big difference.

Many animals change their gender. LINK

Is is the conscious desire to want to do so what bothers you?

Well done! Although, I did not claim schizophrenia was not a mental illness. Reread what I said:

Cutting off your dick and making a non-feeling human cum catcher mitt cavity seems wrong

Does that make me a non science believer?

Did you just link animals which biologically alter their reproductive capabilities for the purpose of reproduction as support of transgenderism?

Mental Illness isn't evil and is a natural occurrence. That doesn't mean the delusions of the person suffering from them are real.

So, the lack of primates on that list is what bothers you?

Your point serves no purpose.

Both are mental illnesses.

And good job ignoring everything else in my post.

I assume you couldn't come up with a decent counterpoint and instead focused on an inane point.

??? Calling something a mental illness does not mean that person thinks it's "evil" or "against nature". What gave you that idea? I'm sure most people know that mental illness is part of the natural world.

Correlation vs. causation.

Does transgenderism cause one to commit suicide, or do outside factors influence the decision to commit suicide?
