WOMEN ARE STRONG!
Avg baseball field down each line is about 340'. Our center field in high school was 440'.

What's horse shite is that the athlete in question hasn't actually begun hormonal therapy; therefore, it was 100% a boy racing girls biologically. That is ridiculous.

What have you done about it?

Sorry, but I just don't see how this is fair at all. Just because you are a male who identifies as a woman, that doesn't mean you should be able to compete against women. Biologically, males are still capable of outperforming women by just about every metric. It's a built in competitive advantage.
And here's my question, how come you don't see trans men performing in male leagues? Oh, yeah because they're at a competitive disadvantage.
This is lunacy. Instead of "male" and "female" being on official documents, maybe we need to go with "XY" and "XX."

I'm reminded of the Scripture that says, roughly, beware those who call good evil and evil good. We are living in those times.

Or, set up a 3rd division for "other". You could have men's, women's, and "other". I seriously cannot fricking believe this conversation is occurring. What has happened to this country???

There is a reason that steroids and hormone injections are closely monitored in high-level sports competition, and considered as cheating.
It is a disgusting display of a lack of character on the part of any transgender competitor who would choose to compete in a 'competition' where they are - by their choice - rigged to win. Screw them and their 'title'

Surprised that ballscaster hasn't commented on this thread yet.

People wanted their pet taboo declared normal and normative. And didn't realize that when the taboos come down, there's no stop. You don't pick and choose which mores will survive in a post-post-postmodern society.

And if he had been taken hormone treatments he would still be 100% boy. Gender/sex is not something you get to decide on.

IDK, this is a pretty blanket statement that cannot be applied to all situations. "Normative" is very relative. Adults should be able to do what they like as long as they aren't depriving others of something, or infringing on another's rights, property, etc.
This "girl" is depriving the girls in the league from a fair chance of winning. That's the problem here IMO. If dudes wanna run around in dresses, whatever, but you're still a dude regardless of what you think.

But that isn't whats happening. The new form of acceptance is legal acceptance. They get it on the books and force themselves into everyday "normal" life.

In this scenario, I agree 100%. Allowing boys to compete with girls is unfair, and should not be allowed.
