Transgender obsession

With Biden handing out these EO's that deal with transgenders, I wondered what the lefts obsession was with this group. I thought, they must make up a huge percent of the population so, the left is pandering to them. Did a google and they are 0.0058 of the US population. What gives with the lefts trans obsession?

I used to wonder the same thing. Then I saw a a Tucker segment with Chadwick Moore a few yrs ago. He made the point that once gay marriage was made legal by the SC, there were no more gay rights to push for. Suddenly, all these liberal gay/lesbian lobbyists and non-profits had nothing to lobby for. So they turn their attention to transgender issues. Makes sense to me. Out of nowhere, transgender was suddenly a huge issue.

Being from Arkansas I can say I met/saw maybe 40-50 in Arkansas the 26 years I lived there.

My wife would occasionally argue that we should just give them what they want so they’d go away. I essentially told her the same thing. They’ll never go away. They’ll move on to the next thing. Then the next thing. They’ll never stop. So don’t capitulate.
It’s the Cause du jour.

There you go. Being from Georgia I can say I met/saw maybe 10 in Georgia the 20 years I lived here.
Now, I'm sure I passed many in Wal-Mart, mall, etc. and I just didn't notice.
