This might sound nuts, but I do think that Dave Smith could be our version of Javier Milei.
Kamala would have to win and absolutely destroy the country over the next four years for that to happen.
If the Dems win, they continue absolutely destroying the country the next four years.
Wondering how badly destroyed it would be???
Look at the last 4 years and increase that exponentially.

And even if he did endorse Trump, it’s not moving the needle one bit. The actual interview might if the right people who tune in. But again, Rogan has fans, but not sycophants who will vote for who he tells them to. And he’d be horrified if they did.
Meh.... I wouldn't discount the influence Rogan has with viewers. I do agree, he's not that guy to go all in on a candidate and attempt to coerce his viewers but his endorsement might push undecided folks Trumps way(if there are any undecided voters left) especially if Trump has a good interview and doesn't come across too strong. One thing is certain, its more exposure to folks that may have not seen much of Trump outside of MSM.
Plus, you know Trump will mention the fact that Harris bombed the Fox interview and declined to talk with Rogan.

I may not agree with everything Dave Smith says but he is impressive & I’m so glad he endorsed Trump. His takedown of Chris Coumo on the PBD podcast is one of the most epic things I have ever witnessed. He just brutalized him directly to his face.

Dave is so pissed in this podcast
Can you tell me which podcast you’re referring to? Would like to listen

Looks to be linked in the OP. Maybe it was edited in later...

If you are a libertarian, why do you care who Joe Rogan or Jimmy Dore endorse for President? Shouldn't you care more about, say, Glenn Jacobs or Tom Woods endorsement?

I remember being against the Iraq War and the Democrats were right about that. Now they’re bigger warmongers than Bush ever was. frick these people.
This. The Biden / Harris admin has been the Cheney/W. Bush warmongering, corrupt Deep State authoritarian administration on steroids... and liberals have gone along with it in lock step. All they had to do was cater to them with virtue signaling/woke DEI bullshite and OMB, and they are more fervent supporters of everything they hated under Cheney / W. Bush than supporters of Cheney/W. Bush ever were. They are tribal fricking robots.

That’s a pretty significant endorsement in the libertarian circle

Dave was a big part of the libertarian party coup. He’s got a significant amount of influence.

And there’s no chance Rogan is going to directly endorse Trump or anybody. Besides being a bad business decision, it would just make his life so much more difficult than it needs to be.
He’s endorsed political candidates in the past, including Bernie

Huh? They voted for it
Right, but Democratic voters were vehemently against the war and most were not aware, because of uniparty propaganda, how much politicians in their own party facilitated that war, because it was spun differently in the media etc. Democrat voters were definitely NOT for that war... remember "No War for Oil" and "War Criminals" etc etc etc. There were protests against it all over the country. There were daily columns written exposing corruption, there were numerous documentaries. The Democratic voters were supposedly anti-war then.

Holy shite. That is huge. Smith is a top 10 Podcaster in my view. And he isn't afraid to speak his mind.
Now if Trump can get Robbie on board, it's definitely over.

Why is it important to you who Rogan and Dore endorse?
Dore will always endorse the party not in power. It’s what he does.
Right. He endorses the anti-establishment candidate. So his endorsement lends legitimacy to other folks who would rather support the anti-establishment candidate, the one who is bucking the system, anti-war profiteering, anti-authoritarian, pro-free speech etc.

This is a big deal, and in my opinion moves the needle much more than a Rogan endorsement. I can't think of another person that has more influence over the <40 Libertarian - Ron Paul - anti-war - independent crowd than Dave Smith.
These are the type of people that will either sit out the election or write in a 3rd party. Dave's endorsement could be the final straw that pushes them to vote for Trump.
Agree or disagree with Dave, but the man is extremely principled & well read. He is very active in the Libertarian party, a skilled debater, and his political opinions are taken seriously.
Rogan has the platform & audience, and people respect his intellectual curiosity, however I don't think his political opinions or endorsements carry anywhere near the same weight.
Cue the Boomers: Who are Joe Rogan & Dave Smith?

Watching the pod, Smith's argument regarding the Iraq War, Trump calling it out in 2016 Republican primary, and the shortsightedness of Dems parading the Cheneys around the South & Midwest (who disproportionally lost family members and friends in Iraq & Afghanistan) to reach independent voters is spot on.

And yes, as a libertarian myself, probably the most angry I’ve been at the Kamala campaign was them embracing Dick and Liz Cheney.
It didn’t make me angry, it just blew me away they would be that transparent.
And as I’ve said before Dave Smith is one of my very favorite political commentators, I subscribe to his website. I think he and other hardcore libertarians are a bit misguided sometimes because they don’t consider sufficiently that their libertarian principles are not possible with a population that is not on the same page and has different values, and I think the only way to get back to this being achievable is a hard right forcible correction.
