Since when did this become the governments job and under what authority would this be enforced?

Neither has done anything notable or positive policy-wise for the middle class of this country.

Even though Biden is a puppet who's asleep at the wheel, Trump actively encouraged division and acted like a buffoon his entire time in office, so much so that he caused a minor recession in the stock market every time he took the podium in his first year until everyone realized nothing he said had any truth to it.

As of right now, I'll sadly take the neutered shadow puppet Biden who's not gonna start WW3, and then vote republican in the local elections depending on the position and candidate.

You gotta do better than this bro. There is nothing on this planet more Milquetoast than the Republican Party circa 2024. It's a scoop of the blandest vanilla ice cream ever made.

Exhibit A. "Stronger family values" is completely mutually exclusive from religion, even though the right tries to pretend it can't be.

I don't need your higher power to know how to be a good husband and father and teach my kids right from wrong.

BOTH sides need to focus on the DEBT, yet both focus on hot button issues like Abortion and Guns.

I guess this means “an old school IKE moderate”, like yourself, doesn’t care about the United States Constitution!? I guess you have no use for the actual original intent of the Constitution, nor the 10th and 2nd Amendments.

The Supreme Court in Roe declared abortion (aka baby murder), a constitutional right! This malevolent decision was a stain on the Constitution and degraded the rule of law.

With a “Founding Father’s Original Intent” majority the Court removed this from a bogus national “right” and returned it to the states as a 10th Amendment state’s right.

If you want to keep baby butchering legal then work at your state and local level!

And guns are extreme?
The Second Amendment reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

quote:

We have a Mobster stooge in Trumpty Dumpty

Evidence???
quote:

DJT did not serve his country and disrespects the uniform

The 16 Presidents’ names are Franklin D. Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover, Calvin Coolide, Warren G. Harding, Woodrow Wilson, William Howard Taft, Grover Cleveland, Millard Fillmore, Martin Van Buren, John Quincy Adams, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden.

Notice John Adams the second president and Thomas Jefferson the third. Both were younger, and just as healthy as George Washington, the first president and combat veteran!

And I’d like some evidence and timeline of the disrespecting the uniform claim.
quote:

DJT is not a true Christian and disrespects the faith

I don’t know if Trump is, was, or will be a “True Christian” because only the Lord knows his heart and soul.

Again look at the list above, Thomas Jefferson wasn’t a true Christian, and he rewrote the Bible removing all of Christ’s miracles!

BOTH sides need to focus on the DEBT …

I agree 100%!

We have a Corporate stooge in Sleepy Joe

I somewhat agree.

“We have a [Crony] Corporate [Socialist] stooge in Sleepy Joe.” Fixed it for you.
quote:

Both sides have gone extreme

Disagree.
The mainstream, establishment, country club GOP swampers are just go along and get along corrupt “moderates”. MAGA is where the Republican center used to be, and not extreme.
quote:

…NEITHER side represent the actual citizens and actual taxpayers.

I 100% agree.

Reply back to my statement then with anything of substance instead of a personal attack and the vaguest of claims?

I'm not pretending anything is new. There are many who feel the way I do, but sometimes it feels good to air your grievances. I chose the poli board to do this because I'm not an insufferable person in real life who's personality is solely tied to their political party.

I see you found your other account.

quote:

Why are we forced to side with the fundamentally religious nutjobs

Well, the issue for you is the religious nutjobs make up about around half of the voting public.

BTW.. With out those "NUTJOBS" you would not be living in the USA.

quote:

narcisistic Trump cultists if we simply want more emphasis on personal responsibility, stricter violent crime policies, and stronger family values?

See that's a lie from the pit of Hell (Religious nutjob right).

1- More people removed from welfare under Trump due to economic policy and mild changes to the welfare system.

2- The Federal gov vs states rights. Why do you want a King?

3- Stronger family.... You mean Personal responsibility right.

quote:

The conservative state governors don't care what separation of church and state means and are far too out-of-touch to fix the real issues in in our communities.

Trump might be the most hypocritical, narcissistic ässhole I've ever seen come into office so much so that you can't trust a single word he says about anything

or what your pastor says is a sin, moments after committing that exact sin himself.

500K pastors in the USA and you think they are all like the one in the news.

WOW.

quote:

There are no halfway moderate options anymore, much less anyone who has any semblance of morality or reason, and this country that I love is becoming increasingly divided and worse off because of it.

Was inevitable. When the loony leftists started pushing, it was only a matter of time that the right said enough.

I thought his diplomacy was great. Russia stayed in it's lane. Nato nations started paying their fair share.

You are not going to get unity with the left. They don't want it. Which is why we are where we are.

Then you are the problem. Not Trump.

I'm strongly in favor of states rights. The country is far too diverse to be governed any other way.

quote:

Most pastors are good people, and some are the exact opposite who prey on their congregation financially and otherwise. Most Christians of all denominations are good people including many of my family and friends, but there is a large % who do it all for show to try to compensate for their otherwise poor morals. And finally, others who want to force their beliefs on others, many of whom are in power, and that is unacceptable.

Christianity and religion has a role in society which is necessary, but it's not nearly as big of a role as the devout think it needs to be.

I have always leaned slightly conservative because the left is generally insufferable even if I agree with some of their policies. Reluctantly voted for Trump in 2016 and loved every bit of the ensuing tears from the media and the left.

Doesn't mean I have to like how his presidency turned out.

Could not dissagree more. The left has gone bonkers left. For the most part the Right is much further left than it was 25 yrs ago. I honestly do not think Trump’s presidency was more conservative than bill Clinton’s. I will conceed that Trump’s personality was a huge issue while he was president, however I do think he considers that as showmanship that got him elected in the first place.

Disagree completely...with the right becomming more extreme.

Without a doubt, the left has gone furhter left, but so has the GOP. While some remain out to the extreme right, they are by far the exception and even the rest of the party recognize them as extreme. In contrast, the Democrat far left are considered normal (e.g., Bernie, AOC, Bowman, the "squad").
