Their goal was world conquest. They likely invade the central American nations then easily take Mexico. Now they have a foothold to invade over land.

Again, this is due to us staying neutral and not having a capable military. And England going fast and us not having access to Enigma and other secrets learned.

Germany would have had the whole of Europe resources to pilfer including prisoner labor. We were pacifists leading up to war and its said we allowed Pearly Harbor to get minds changed to get in the war.

Assuming that doesn’t happen Germany and Japan would have taken over the rest of world in short order. Then focused on the US and all of Americas. Imagine Japan not challenged then once China and Australia and rest of Asia is theirs. Germany has all of Europe and Africa and Russia. Japan can take Alaska and get a foothold to go into Canada. Germany from Central America to Mexico. German Subs never taken out due to England and not getting Enigma means they can keep our fleets bottled.

Also, them not invading England was another Hitler tactical error. He wanted to do it by air when he could have done it by sea. This allowed England to decimate his air force but it was close and England was down to last fighters when Hitler changed to city bombing vs airfields. But the Brits had help from US just like Russia did. If we stay neutral that help never comes.

Probably shouldn't have done anything to help the USSR, but the Roosevelt administration was riddled with Communists. Had the Nazis defeated the Soviets, they would have been like a python trying to swallow an elephant.

It is not.

We knew in the hours prior to Pearl Harbor that the Japanese were about to strike due to our successful cracking of their diplomatic codes. However, we didn't know where. The prevailing wisdom was the Philippines as that was closest to what they wanted: the oil of the Dutch East Indies. However, there was a failure of imagination on the part of our military to include Pearl Harbor as a likely target the Japanese might exploit. The main reason being that it was a shallow harbor and thus "invulnerable" to torpedo attack.

The winners write history, which is clearly noted about WW2. KGB defectors years after WW2 confirmed Stalin was working on plans to attack Germany before Operation Barbarossa took place. England and France declared war on Germany first, Hitler did not want to go to war with England. Hitler's anger, as well as that of the German people, was toward France for the harsh surrender terms following WW1, which was devastating to the German economy. Hitler was a WW1 soldier, a brave one at that, so he knew the terms all so well. Hitler had no plans to truly attack America, he only declared war to give the Japanese backing and so that he could go forward with destruction of U.S. shipping to Great Britain. Socialist FDR pushed Germany into a position, just like he did with Japan. Hitler was not insane, drugged up? Yes, but I do not see him as the demon books make him out to be. Yes, he had hatred for the Jews but hasn't that been an issue through history and even today? But Heinrich Himmler was the one that started the execution of Jews, to which Hitler just turned his back on. But there was never any questions that besides the Jews, gypsies, gays and mentally ill, Hitler loved the German people.
Stalin on the other hand, was a ruthless killer of anyone, killed millions of his own people without a care in the world. Why did Stalin get a pass on attacking Poland and Finland? And let's not forget Russia declaring war on Japan right before the end so that they could take territory? We were duped into helping the Communists, a fatal mistake that has played out even to today...

No we were on the right side, but we should have gone to Berlin and Central Europe in the end and pushed the Soviets back to the Ukraine. Patton got it right.
