With Schiff and Swalwell on our intelligence committees, it's no wonder our intelligence is weak.

The first war I attended was because we didn't like Panamanian banking practices. We invaded a sovereign country and kidnapped its duly elected president to be tried in our country.
The second I attended was because we were afraid that Israel would have to fight their own war against Iraq.

The answer is hell no.

Was just thinking of this yesterday. Growing up it was always my dream to be in the military, it was what i wanted. Not necessarily to "fight" for this country, but to represent this country proudly. For one reason or another, i never did enlist. But as of now i definitely wouldnt want to enlist because of we are now seeing how dirty this country is run. These poor souls risking their lives are being played for someone elses personal gain and satisfaction.

I wouldn’t want my son to join.

It’s a great cause. But the decision makers do the bidding of the world order. Often for unjust cause.

No. I don't want to be sent to a pointless regime change war.

Not a chance I’d give control of free choice to those assholes. But, I am an American to the bone and if need be I’m not afraid to fight

Told my wife I'm not renewing my contract in 2 years. She didn't take that well. I will add we don't see eye to eye politically. With what I do in my job I see how much we get manipulated and I've always told her she is not seeing the full picture many times. I pretty much used that to explain my justification and while it's crass I don't care.

No....I was a Marine Infantry Officer, loved my job and Marines. Learned a great deal and got a full ride for undergrad and they paid for my masters. Today I would not knowing that Politicians don’t care whatsoever about the military but padding their own pockets via special interests.

Honestly curious what the military makeup will look like in 10 years. The blue collar working class white kids have historically been the main makeup of the military, but are they going to want to go seeve for this shitty government that will rob them blind?... it seems the military is more interested in transgenders these days anyways, the draft may end up coming back.

As a veteran I am proud of my service. It was a much different time and people in this country had their differences but we were always proud to be Americans, no matter how much we disagreed on the nuance's of how we should be Americans.

Those times are gone forever.

I'm too old the be of any value to our military now but I do not feel the leadership of this country (for the past 20 or 30 years) both democrat and republican is worth putting my life on the line for.

Because that's what you're putting your life on the line for, the leadership at the times ideology and judgment.

Yes when the bullets start flying you fight for the guy on either side of you and you carry the pride of what this country was founded on in your heart, but neither of those things are why you are in the shite.

Furthermore, I recently had a conversation with my son and explained the same thing. The leaders on this country do not care about you or this country. Dying for them and their ideologies is a waste of everything you cane be..

Both grandfathers served
Father served
Father in Law served
I served
Would not now
Would discourage my children to serve
Especially after 1/20/2021

Yes he will.
I despise him and all other swamp scum.
Did they cheat?
Yes.
Did Republicans drop the ball catching them red handed etc?
Yes.

But, stop saying Biden not inaugurated. It's sadly going to happen.

Based on recent analysis by MSM I would likely be named a domestic terrorist and doubt I would be allowed in.

Makes me sad that I no longer have this romantic view of my country.

It’s always sad when a soft millennial pacifist is born into a family of former great Americans.

Nope , I am not going to die to make dirty politicians rich . A draft would also wake up liberals to realize what it cost to keep these wars going.
