You and I used to see eye to eye but somewhere along the lines, you became a bitch towards me and have recently started following me around like a puppy. Why?
I have ignored it for the most part but it's starting to happen more frequently.

quote:Really depends on the criminal and the particular laws the STATE in question passes. But most criminals are stupid and will do anything for a buck, so seems pretty obvious if you wanna get guns off the streets you just pay for them. If a particular STATE decides to go that somewhat extreme route (that fetishists like stout dream about so they can go out in blaze of glory), it obviously wouldn't be right or fair for the state not to pay the fair market value for the weapons anyway.
If that were to happen, do you think the criminals would be the first to put down their guns?
Then they can melt them all down, and make trophies for every schoolchild in America!

Just think, if our government threw the same resources they’ve thrown toward J6 and Get Trump, we might actually have discovered a motive for this terrorist attack.

Do you understand the definition of criminal?

They already do that with gun buybacks. It doesn't work or deter crime.

People who own guns for self defense don't go around saying they are gonna kill people if they don't get their way. Those people own guns because they have a fetish.

You should bring up that argument if the STATE you live in decides to go the route of an outright ban on all guns. You are the one who asked how a state could accomplish such a thing, to a guy that never said he thought it'd be a good idea for a state to do something like that, so....?
Why do you hate local government ?

There is a whole list of shady shite about this and things which don’t add up but by way of comparison, look for YouTube videos, documentaries, and other clips then ask why are there so few compared to other much less impactful events…

I don't have to worry about that. We have the 2A

No. I asked if you thought criminals would stop committing gun violence. You ignored it with some BS utopian answer thinking criminals will stop being criminals if we just give them money to do so.
You also act like just because we buy up a few guns that more guns wouldn't come pouring into criminals hands through the open border Dems love so much.
Why do the cities with the strictest gun laws in the USA also top the list of gun and other violent crimes? Those same cities have gun buybacks multiple times per year.

Your threads have become pedantic, annoying and tiresome. When it comes to starting threads, it seems like you now believe quantity is more important than quality, aka, jjdoc syndrome.
I really liked the previous version of stout. This new version...not so much.

The majority of my threads are news articles of things I want to discuss here. Not trolling like jjdoc.

Don't read them. I don't really read or respond to shite here that I don't care for.
I think it's more than that with you. I think it's because I oppose sending money to Ukraine and IIRC you don't. You are not like the Ukraine bros on the OT but you are OK with funding Ukraine. Sort of ironic considering your username and how you made your fortune.

It's a message board, dude.

Yeah we always seem to be bombarded in the media with alleged stats of gun crimes but by definition we will NEVER see that stats of what crime was prevented by guns. You won’t ever see a crook who was drawn down on and apprehended by a legal gun owner be chalked up into any stat column…it’s as if the crime incident to tally as a prevented incident never happened…because it DIDN’T!

Don't read them.
EDIT: Your decline as a poster coincides with the decline in quality of Tigerdropping's boards in general. It frustrates me to see it happening. It's like a race to the bottom.

Why not respond to my suspicions about Ukraine and how ironic it is of you considering you literally made your fortune working for/in Russia?

By "don't get their way" do you mean get their constitutional rights violated?

Why not respond to my suspicions about Ukraine

you literally made your fortune working for/in Russia?
I also worked in three cities in Ukraine, Kiev (which has a mix of both ethnic Ukrainians and Russians), Lviv (almost exclusively ethnic Ukrainians where speaking Russian is considered offensive) and Odesa (a majority of ethnic Russians), for over a year.
That gives me a pretty unique perspective on the whole Russia vs Ukraine dynamic not just what most people have by reading echo-chamber message boards.

You are a moron. The Bill of Rights isn’t something the State governments can choose to ignore. The Second Amendment is a fundamental right applicable to the States under the Fourteenth Amendment.
