I've lived in Oklahoma for 60 years.
When our family first move here, the following things were all illegal because Southern Baptists dominated the state:
Open or concealed carry without a license.
Sales of mixed drinks in restaurants. You were required to bring your own bottle.
Wine sales in grocery stores.
Beer stronger than 3.2% sold in grocery stores.
Liquor sales on Sunday.
Growth, sale or possession of marijuana.
Today, all of the above are legal in Oklahoma (MJ requires a medical card).
Texas has become more draconian while Oklahoma has become a bastion of true freedom.

There's no special interest group money or campaign funds from business lobbys in cleaning up immigrants in our state. Those groups need the labor and state and federal funds to keep greasing the system and lining pockets. Having a Red congress and leadership here doesn't mean a thing. We sold out 50+ years ago to immigrant labor.

No it’s 0.875 lbs. Still a significant amount, but my dad who lives here in Texas and is a 65 year old retiree buys a pound at a time just to keep his cost per oz down for him and my retired stepmom. I couldn’t see him getting life for buying a pound of weed for him and his wife to enjoy over the next several months.
