Generally anything that makes it more difficult or suppresses or discourages protest against the state I oppose. I would include taking away ones ability to wear a face covering during protest as possibly being a form of discouraging protest. IDK...Im not sure where I stand on this issue yet. Since you have thrown in on your support to dox protestors, how would you differentiate between those that simply oppose the Trump administration and those that are left wing radicals with a more destructive agenda (typical Antifa types)? Or do you think anyone protesting Trump is Antifa?

If you're concealing your identity to exercise your right to protest, there's a 99% chance you're up to no good.
There is no documented evidence of people opposed to President Trump or the rights agenda being physically attacked and harassed so there is no preemptive need to conceal ones identity like there is or likely is for ICE agents who are violently attacked and some even have their families threatened. I personally do not like that they hide their identity but they is precedent for why they do. Unlike Antifa and some anti Trump/conservative militants.
It's not nuanced, Everyone sees who the anarchist and violent agitators are even if they dance around the truth and pretend some how things aren't what they really are.

First off liberty is the risk of danger, if you dont have that then you're under totalitarian rule. That is why the 2A is a God given right and it scares governments that say "we are the government, we're hear to help you".
