how about make every state with the same number of electoral votes so nobody on either side can pile up and overload one state like cali and new york?? u can win a state but no matter how many people u have your electoral votes stay the same.
This is actually one of the better alternatives that is discussed on forums regarding the electoral college. It solves the problem you mentioned AND it keeps both parties at relatively the same level when you factor out the purple states that are toss-ups.

Are you high?
You agree with a system that gives Wyoming 60x the electorial votes per voter in Wyoming compared to California?
How about perportional splits of the states electorial votes based on how the state voted?

Not trying to be vitriolic here, but I just want to see the Republican Party annihilated.
Makes sense. The Democrats aren't very good at rigging the general election. They might win 2/3 of the time if they had no opposition.
They're really good at rigging their primaries, though...

This, in a nutshell, reflects what the root of the problem with the country is. Its never really been about party. The past few decades have really just been running around this issue.
And the establishment does all it can to divide the middle class over wedge issues so they can continue to maintain control over their power.
Seriously....the right and the GOP has abortion and guns.....the GOP ain’t doing shite about the former and there has never been a real issue with the latter.
The left has Racism and a living wage.....when there ain’t shite can be done about the former....it’s human nature, we are all racist to some degree.......and one of the lefts golden boys was the governor of a right to work state with a state legislature controlled by democrats!
So we go round and round about these things and things like men in skirts shitting in the ladies and Obamacare and things just get bleaker and bleaker for the middle class.

Then who would feed the dems? Who would do the work? Not the talking and pointing, the work.

I want some form of single payer healthcare that establishes a solid but not spectacular baseline of medical care for citizens and permanent residents. I’m not sure if vastly expanding Medicare would be the best way to do that or coming up with something new. Supplemental plans for better care can be bought privately. I want to do a complete overhaul of critical infrastructure. Dredging ports, renovating bridges, fixing roads, the whole nine yards. I want to create a path to citizenship that can be met by either serving in the armed forces and receiving an honorable discharge at the end, or successfully completing a 4 year bachelor’s degree at a university. Just a few things, there’s more, but those are the biggest.
All this is reasonable. I disagree but dems would be winning a lot more elections if this was their platform rather than the shitshow it is now.

I want Trump to lose the 2020 election, but I do not want him impeached.
I want his supporters to recognize that his populist platform is nothing new and doesn’t suggest he actually cares about coal miners in Kentucky. He’s as elite and out of touch as any other politician.
Along the same lines, I want him to explicitly disavow the small portion of his voting base who are white supremacists. I don’t believe he himself is one, but to allow them a continued voice through tacit acceptance of their support is long term damaging for this country.
I want him to stop tweeting during his daily morning shite, as it’s unbecoming of such a high office to communicate with the world in such a common manner. He can maintain the policy platform this board so loves while not delivering his message like a 16 year old.
I want the country to have liberal, non-protectionist trade policies while focusing both public and private funds to updating domestic infrastructure. To those who have traveled extensively to other developed countries, our infrastructure is embarrassingly out-dated in comparison. Trump has emphasized this as a goal in the past, and I agree with that objective.
I want the “it started a conversation” idea to die in a fire fueled by arsenic and hydrocloric acid. There are enough injustices to highlight without having to justify lies.
Speaking of dying in fires, I think the lobby in support of online, for-profit “universities” should suffer such a fate. In an ever competitive economy, those institutions result in debilitating debt without the skill sets to extinguish it.

So this is the thread where OP feigns asking an honest question and then the board proceeds to tell me what I think for me.

If you're too cowardly to just plainly state what you want, just say so..........
Go ahead DS, give us say 5 planks of your political wish list.

I know more old democrats in West Virginia and Pennsylvania that are white supremacists than Trump supporters that are WS...
walking around disavowing is stupid...the list of disavows becomes extensive...
Like Maxine Waters...i don't see any average Ds on my FB feed disavowing her stupid arse.
