I mean. it's not ideal but all it does is put Israel on the same footing as all the other countries we ignore.

I am a right-leaning libertarian, whicg puts me to the Left of about 95% (or more) of the Reactionaries on this forum, so,I will play.
1. NO deficit spending. Until a balanced budget is achieved, there should be ZERO tax cuts, unless offset by a greater decrease in spending. The recent tax cut was fiscally-irresponsible and served little purpose other than populist vote-buying.
2. Complete elimmination of ALL public accommodation laws. If ANY such laws remain on the books, they should be limited to groups that suffer ACTUAL discrimination TODAY. Sorry Catholics, but you have been off that list format least 50 years. Protestants, your whining has NEVER had any merit. Gays and other LGB! should be on the list, so long as such a list exists. My only caveat would be that any business which chooses to refuse business with any group would be required to publish that fact on its premises, on its web presence and in any print or broadcast advertising. The market might create a niche for bigots, but I find it reprehensible to invite a customer onto your premises and then refuse to do business with her.
3. NO minimum wage. If you lack the skilss to earn a living wage, you SHOULD be living in your parents’ basement or sharing an apartment with six other people. You most-certainly should not be breeding.
4. Unemployment insurance should be actual insurance .... limited bebefits in proportion to the premiums an employee has paid. NO benefits for persons terminated “for cause.”
5. Governmental support payments should be VERY limied and payable ONLY to those who are actually unable to care for themselves due to some disability. They should ne payable ONLY to citizens and legal residents.
6. A robust guest worker program with VERY low barriers to entry (exclude felons perhaps). If we do not encourage citizens NOT to work, the numbers of guest workers will be rather low, but the free flow of labor is the heart of capitalism.
7. Discard birthright citizenship, and no child of a guest worker (regardless of the status of the other parent) should be entitled to citizenship. If a guest worker DOES become a parent with a US citizen, such guest worker would get fast-track citizenship access, but would still have to qualify objectively. When the guest worker qualifies, the child gets citizenship.
8. Get government OUT of the marriage business AND the breeding business. No government benefits of ANY kind (tax or otherwise) arising from marital status OR from reproduction. If we simply MUST keep doing this, it should be gender-neutral and numer-neutral. I am willing to GIVE the word “marriage” to the religious, since it seems to mean so much to them. Tie ALL government benefits to “civil union,” regardless of gender, number or whatever. Religions can define it (for THEIR purposes) as man-woman, same-sex, polygamy or bestiality. I do not give a flip.
9. Get governmment OUT of the abortion business. Don’t fund it, but you have no busines telling anyone else when something growing in her body is NOT hers to remove. If you do not want an abortion, do not have one. If you do not want someone else to have an abortion, try to talk her out of it. A reasonable compromise would be 14 weeks or so, but the simple fact is that we cannot compromise now because NEITHER side trusts the other to HONOR a compromise, so put it in the Constitution and exempt it from repeal or amendment.
10. Robust foreign policy.
11.The manifesto could be much longer, but I want to swim with my kids.
Edit: Blame all the typos on the fact that I am typing with my thumbs beside a pool, with a frosty, malt-based beverage in my hand.

No, it's because the GOP is a sham party. It's part of the UniParty only they don't want their base to see the truth.

One can have empathy, and yet still desire the rule of law. I think of it like this, I discipline my children for their wrongdoings, even though I would die for them without hesitation. I empathize with their positions, and love them dearly, but desire for them to become strong adults. In order to nurture strength, there must be discipline and consequences for actions.
Feel free to exchange your ideas here. I’ll gladly have a civil discussion with you.

What is your vision for this country, and how can it be accomplished.
Guaranteed healthcare for anyone that legally works in the US. Less sick people equals a more able bodies employable people
Guaranteed healthcare for US Military veterans and their families
Real process/path for citizenship for illegal and legal immigrants and their families who have been working in the US for the past 10 years that have families, who haven't been convicted of a non violent crime within that time frame
Outsourcing Tax for companies who layoff American workers and ship those jobs overseas
Actual prosecutions and convictions for police officers who shoot clearly unarmed civilians on a federal level and/or assault unarmed civilians. Cop with x amount of complaints/wrote ups should be terminated and unable to rehired for 5 years.
Id not like to waste money on a border way that will be ineffective, especially in light of border crossings and arrest have been decreasing since 2008.

Gays are tolerated, even accepted by most people nowadays.
Not enough. Toddy wants, nay demands, that the lifestyle be celebrated. By everyone.
And that’s never gonna happen. So he wants those that refuse to celebrate it eradicated.
He’s a Nazi.

I always knew most of us agree more than we disagree.
I agree with all of your points except tax cuts...spending should be cut first
I would like to add....eliminate most of the federal departments and drastically reduce the remaining.
Everything should be pushed back to the states and personal property rules.

I figured everyone here should be able to see the hook under this bait, but apparently I’m mistaken. Solid troll
As to the OP.. I don’t consider myself a leftie.. I hold centrist views on most subjects. But that makes me a leftie on this board, so I’ll play:
1. I want our electorate to educate themselves and stop worshiping partisan politics. Vote based on platforms and what you truly believe will make your life/region/city more prosperous. I think if everyone really stepped back and did this instead of getting drawn into soundbites we would have a lot more moderates in office and more productive political debates.
2. I want the government to respect our privacy, and I want the people to expect the same from corporations. If the IC wants to spy on a few billion people overseas so be it. But GTFO of US citizens’ personal lives. I want meaningful legislation that forces Google, Facebook, et al to do the same. I get the free market argument, don’t care. There’s too little transparency around what exactly companies do with your data.
3. I want the DOJ to grow some nuts when it comes to mergers & acquisitions, especially in telecom. Just like Google and Facebook are monopolizing our data, AT&T and Verizon are trying to monopolize the transmission of that data.
4. I want a limit on the amount of income that can be classified as capital gains. Hedge fund managers shouldn’t be taxed at a lower rate than the working class just because their job involves moving money around. I know there are some here that vehemently disagree, and that’s ok. If there’s an elegant way to carve out exceptions for venture capital, I would be OK with that as a way to still encourage risk taking with new businesses.
5. I want the government to ALWAYS be thinking in terms of cost/benefit rather than sticking strictly to principle, especially at the federal level. I don’t support the wall or aggressive prosecution of welfare fraud - this isn’t because I love illegal immigrants and welfare. It’s because I believe the costs of both outweigh the rewards. These are just two examples, but there are plenty of others.
6. I want the federal government to start seriously considering what impacts AI will have on society over the next 50 years or so. I’m not one of these “the sky is falling” nutjobs but the impact will be substantial, especially in a service economy. I believe this may be the biggest challenge facing us yet we are too busy talking about fricking Russia and HRC to notice. I worry that technology will get so far ahead of our policies that we won’t be able to mitigate the impacts.
7. And this is a big one. I want everybody in our country to stop acting like the damn world is ending all the time and realize just how good we have it. Both sides want what they think is best for the country. In the grand scheme of things, America is great. When you get down to it, there is more that unites us than divides us. Let’s act like it.

The left is it shock right now. You'll get some real hardball tactics to ensure Trump isn't elected again

Yes....
I really think conservatives, libertarians, and even some liberals (what % I don’t know) have more things in common than not.
It just takes civil conversations (almost impossible) to understand each other.
And I do believe the establishment of both parties plus the media, never wants this to happen.
i.e. I was “arguing” with AggieHank86 the other day, and thought we were on opposite sides of the spectrum.
I read his post just a few up, and realized we are 90% in agreement.

I will always respond to the idiocy of “Denial of a meaningless continuance means Trump is winning!” That fact makes enemies amongst the MAGA Mob.

Support him when I agree, don't support him when I don't. Some get bent out of shape but most will discuss it with you
Looking at the "board" as some collective group is a terrible approach

Some mindless MAGAite will post a reference to something meaningless and neutral (usually in biased form from a website falling off the right side of the spectrum), but will portray it as being unambiguously pro-Trump (usually by quoting said trash website). Within 10 minutes, he will have 1200 upvotes.
I correct the spin, and that makes enemies.
