Desantis is keeping his head down and has decided not to get into a mud wrestling match with Trump. He's playing it smart. I would do the same if I was in Ron's shoes. He is gaining key financial support but not giving the press any verbal faux pas, while racking up a list of solid, competent, and conservative wins in Florida impossible to deny. Seriously, who wants to trade public nasty verbal arrows with Trump?
BTW, DeSantis is nothing like Paul Ryan. The only thing DeSanis shares with Ryan is that they both served in the US House of Reps as republicans.

I’m neither Team Trump nor Team DeSantis (I’ll vote for whomever wins the primary).
But to suggest the pro-DeSantis crowd is any more “culty” than the pro-Trump folks is preposterous.
