It's safe to say Trump will get the nomination much easier than he did in 2016

I've been on the Trump Train since the escalator but three things need to happen.

1) Trump needs to stop seeing the other Republicans as legitimate competition and start uniting the Right.

2) The other "candidates" need to face reality and unite behind Trump.

3) Nick Saban needs to retire because the dynasty is over

So.... Trump needs to recognize the other Republicans as legitimate competition, but the other candidates should then stop being competition?

Attacks have never been the problem.

Slash & burn, attacking like a retarded liberal is what's causing damage to the future of conservatism.

Agreed. We are wasting billions of dollars on a pointless primary, when we should be working on uniting the party, voter registration, securing election systems, etc.

Today I'm more interested in seeing who within 'the competition' is going to attack Trump tonight. Some will realize it would cause an instant decline in their polling numbers with GOP voters.
Some will know they have no chance anyway so if they attack Trump they will be featured in the headlines of the MSM in the morning.

Here is where the desantis supporters insist on clinging bitterly just like they accuse Trump supporters of doing.

Probably the only reasonable thought you'll have all day. You should stop while you're ahead.

Yea you sound like a liberal.

Reminds me of a little league team up 50 points in the 2nd quarter and you are the type that would get mad at the coach for still trying to win in the 2nd half

Give? No. He's clearly going to be the nominee based on the primary voters.

I'm saying instead of spending millions and millions of dollars amongst all the candidates to fracture the party, we should get behind the guy leading by 50 points. If Trump was up by 10 points I wouldnt have that opinion.

How is it pointless?

Trump is not an incumbent. It is an open primary, and he needs to earn support. Not duck debates and attempt to try destroy conservatism?

And it hasn't even begun yet. There is still 7 months left of it.

You should be more specific. A Trump attacker would see their polls decline amongst soft AF Trump superfans. There are a lot of conservatives that would very much welcome Trump being challenged on his record and ideas. It's understandable why Trump ducked this debate.
