The GOPe would never allow Trump to truly choose his VP. Scott may be a contender choice in compromise. I saw older articles and Noem was surely top choice as Trumps VP.

Honestly wouldn’t be a terrible choice. VP doesn’t even matter and watching the left attack him like they did after he gave the response to that biden speech won’t be a good look for them

I think Scott was sent to the Sunday News Shows to make nice and bridge the divide. After midterms the GOPe may say frick off Trump. It is how Turtle & Graham won re-election, they sucked up MAGA HARD.
