Please, Trump, DO NOT run again. He will be 78. We need age limits (70 or 75 at most) for all politicians. Let the younger ones deal with this mess.

Terrible pick. Internally he's GOPe and will be labeled an Uncle Tom by blacks.

I don't trust Scott; he won't stand behind pulling the trigger on BLM when they begin torching cities. Just won't do it, for obvious reasons. And that will ultimately have to happen, whether in the city or when they march to the Burbs and beyond, lest Vigilantism arise. The Dems and MSM will gas/light if a Red Wave begins serious rollbacks of Progressive hegemony/policy.
Scott is the GOP-E version; like that other SC Gal (Nicki Haley, I think) that Trump appointed to work the UN. Hard times coming. Compromised softies won't cut it.

Trump needs to be surrounded with nothing but non-swampers to finish what he began. Tim Scott is a compromise that Trump doesn’t need to fool with.

Scott is the Black version of Pence; when it's SERIOUSLY on the line, they fold.
That said, both are good men, just not the kind of persons required to deal with the coming storm. The days of political comity are over. Sadly. The Commies are here, and out to take down the Constitution. They believe it to be immoral, from its inception. People like Scott and Pence will let it happen.
