The popular video-sharing app TikTok permanently banned and removed the pro-life group Live Action from its platform, Live Action president and founder Lila Rose said Friday morning.

TikTok removed a video LiveAction posted and then informed the group that it was permanently banned Thursday, Rose said in her statement.

Live Action had published “an educational video to our TikTok highlighting lives saved by our content & raising awareness of the importance of speaking out on abortion,” Director of External Affairs Alison Centofante said in a press release. The platform reportedly told Live Action around 2:30 p.m. that the video “violated community guidelines.”

Live Action immediately appealed the removal of the video, Centofante said, and around 3 p.m. received an email from TikTok announcing that the Live Action account “was banned due to multiple Community Guidelines violations.”

Live Action joined TikTok in 2019 as part of an ongoing effort to reach Gen Z and Millenials “with the truth about abortion,” Rose said in a statement.

The Live Action TikTok account shared baby photos and videos that highlighted “the illogic of the pro-abortion movement,” Rose added. Though Live Action has now been banned, Rose says that TikTok allows pro-abortion accounts to remain on the platform such as the video “How to DIY: Deletus your fetus edition.

The strongest force for the left is the corruptible power of social media. It has given a platform to the fringe, and their voices have gone from whispers to screams. The group think mentality sees these voices as a leading force in majority, so they follow along in tow like good little sheep and expand the fringe from being just a fringe to a strong minority.

One of the most powerful tools of oppression is thought control. How do you effectively perform thought control? By silencing the dissenting voices of your opposition. It is happening at a rapid pace, and if this continues we will eventually see the fringe as the majority.

Dangerous stuff folks

Tech companies are based in large cities which are mostly blue so don't be surprised when they have blue bias.

Who's surprised by their bias? Please try and keep up and stop deflecting to the irrelevancies

Tech companies are the end-around that the left has been searching for for the better part of a century. Unaccountable monopolies that transfer information and are protected by a government that uses them to disseminate their propaganda while quashing any challenging views.

Indeed, and they have it at their full disposal. Each year we witness them strengthening in their move to silence opposition, and they become emboldened when the pushback is minimal to nil. Soon they will start blatantly banning every voice they don't like and mocking us all in the process. It's not far off.

And when the clueless congress wanted new legislation to regulate social media, who did they ask to write it?

TicTok is owned by a Chinese company... not really sure censoring is even worthy of breaking news type of post as it is expected

And yet we can make the government force someone to bake a gayke, under criminal penalty.

When will these idiots learn. When you ban something or try to censor something, people have a natural tendency to want to view, experience it, read about it, or try it. It’s why the war on drugs is a colossal failure. People want to naturally experience things that they are told they can’t possess.
