Thune could tell Schumer to kick rocks and support Recess Appointments. Temporary, but pivotal in this politically pivotal time as evidence of Dem corruption is being outed with the potential to prosecute.
Thune should be informed that if or when MAGA hegemony continues that he is OUT asap, as his cowardice (or worse) will not be forgotten or forgiven.

How can the dems hold up confirmations? I thought it was a 50 vote hurdle??
It's not Dems holding them up. It's RINO Republicans, like Thune.

It's the blue slip process, which is not enshrined in the Constitution or formal Senate rules but is a custom that can be enforced or waived at the discretion of the Judiciary Committee chair.
When the president nominates someone, the Senate Judiciary Committee sends a "blue slip" (literally a blue form) to the two senators from the nominee's home state for their input. How it works: Senators can approve (return positively), object (negative return), or withhold the slip. Historically, a negative or withheld slip from even one senator could block the nomination, but enforcement depends on the committee chair.
The current chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee is Chuck Grassley and he's being a cuck.

It’s not just DA’s though, it’s also a lot of key fed positions. Trumps leaders are still working with a skeleton crew over the deep state bureaucracy
