wouldn't there be ID on these people or visa's, etc. Why would they identifying factor by a flag.

There were photos of a Tennessee state flag, with a Lt.’s signature on it.
I figured it was a gift from a training exercise we did with Ukraine. Otherwise the signature doesn’t make sense.

This probably isn't true for these three particular guys. That said, there are a ton of foreign fighters working for the Ukes--and plenty of them are getting killed.

If we were covertly sending fighters into Ukraine, they'd either be Blackwater types for deniability or SpecOps. They wouldn't be Tennessee National Guard and they certainly wouldn't have anything that would identify them as Americans.
