One of those guys got a Supreme Court assist, and the other resigned, and the 3rd couldn't win re-election.

Yet he was so loved by America.

Fake news. Alternative facts.

He finished with the 3rd highest approval rating of any President at the end of their presidency - behind only Reagan and Clinton.

Several of those numbers on that chart seem intuitively wrong

Well Bush had a 62% average approval in term 1 and 37% in term 2. Gallup Data

His graph is interesting, as 9/11 obviously had a major impact.

He finished high, but his AVERAGE over eight years was towards the bottom.

It's not fake news.

- Barack Obama finished his tenure as president with a 47.9% average job approval rating. He ranks below eight presidents and ahead of only three -- Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Harry Truman -- in Gallup's polling history.

Average over their term is no really that good of an indicator, I'd rather look at the trend. Obama's isn't posted yet, but W obviously got a significant bump after 9/11, with a big decline from there...

Neither is looking at the numbers when the president is a lame duck and completely locked out of policy making.

Obama has been, since 2014, sidelined.

Fake news is exactly what it is - at least based on the Trump/Poli board definition.

Presenting information that may technically be factual, but presented in such a way as to push an agenda and is intellectually dishonest or disingenuous.

No, approval rating is approval rating, period.

I'm fine with be long term average overall, but GW Bush is different than the other administrations at least.

And obviously one-term presidents have a different data sample than two-term presidents which makes those comparisons tricky as well.

Why? He was brilliant in the immediate aftermath of the attacks. Brilliant. His approval ratings didn't magically spike to 90% because Americans randomly started liking him. They spiked in response to his brilliance.
