It’s because almost half our country - either wittingly or unwittingly - is pro-Communist or pro-Communist Lite (socialism).

Yeah...some people I have known a while share pro communism posts and shite now. I also went to college as a non traditional 2014-2019 and saw sympathy for it there (thankfully not so much in my department) But all of them are people who are unhappy and unsuccessful. That’s the key takeaway for me.

Why would the de facto Anti-American party not support the enemies of the USA? I mean, that Dems would cheerlead for China is completely predictable and expected. They will embrace any country, organization or idea that weaken us. That’s their organizing principle. It’s essentially a National Suicide Party.

I was saying this back before the lockdown started. By the time this was done, the CCP would be praising the left.

HK itself may not get saved but it is heavily believed that a lot of businesses will leave and relocate to Singapore.
If HK severely declines as a port because of this, China will be up shite creek because people had been willing to ship through there but not anywhere else in China.
