Next June you will be having your blueberry pancakes with a side of pride rainbow dick hash casserole and the "Old Country Store" will be selling CoExIsT t-shirts. That's if the doors are still open...

Chalk this up as one more thing you know jack shite about

Well then I'll continue boycotting them like I have for the past 60 years.

What a sacrifice..

If they would have simply fixed the food and publicized that (like the Chili's rebirth) that would have been just fine. Probably better than fine.

This has a good chance of killing the company. Certainly is going to be a very, very expensive mistake.

What a moronic statement. People age everyday. Do you think you're going to stay the same age forever?

I think the remodel is bland and corporate AF, but the reaction to it has been incredibly overblown too.

If all of these people reacting poorly on social media actually ate at Cracker Barrel in the last 5 years, their stock wouldn’t look like this.

Face it, the company has been struggling long before they tried this failed rebrand.

Nah. Because I'm not offended. But I'm also not stupid. I know why they did it. I just find it silly when any company substantially Strays away from its base customers and does it in a way that they can't possibly not know is going to bother their base customers. Me personally I can't even remember the last time I was in a Cracker Barrel. It's got to have been 15 years minimum. I would find it just as silly if a company that traditionally appealed to a young hip big city crowds suddenly abandoned it's Base in favor of the Hank Williams crowd

Of course they are. That is what they do - destroy as anything redeemable is despised

TBH, I don’t think it’s possible to survive in the restaurant/hospitality business if you’re not friendly with the gays. They’re easily going to be 40-50% of your talent pool.

I frankly have never understood the “woke” angle to this story. The conservatives getting worked up about this look a lot like the libs crying about American Eagle a few weeks ago.
