I'm afraid expectations far outweigh reality. Neither side can afford to call witnesses, without exposing both parties in an election year. This has the potential to be the yawn fest of the century.

I think this is probably most accurate. From what I understand of the procedure so far, House managers and President's team each get 24 hours to present their case to the senate. Then, the senate members submit written questions which are asked of the HM and POTUS defense team by Justice Roberts. Likely not to get underway till late Tuesday or Weds due to lack of consensus on procedure in senate.
So half day of bickering amongst senators, followed by 24 hours of Team dim led by Schiff basically lecturing on the importance of fragile Ukraine, Trump's intent to "get dirt" on political opponents, sleezly Lez Parnas, and poor, poor Ambassador Yvonavitch.
Ain't tuning in much for Pencilneck & the Gang.

The OJ trial happened when I was in college. My roommate and I would watch it for hours. I want to say it was replayed in its entirety everyday on a cable channel. If we missed it during class, we were tuning in that night. Or giving each other recaps and stuff.

What about the Teapot Dome Scandal trial? It would have been something else to see all that shite go down.
Can't wait for this one though. This one is gonna be like some shite out of the movie A Few Good Men. Trump's defense is going to be play offense. His lawyers are gonna put shitheels on the stand and demand some frickin truth!!
It'll be the highest rated TV shite of all time. Trump wouldn't have it any other way.
