It's really quit simple. The obama holdovers in the FCC simply walked into Matt Drudge's office and told him to start carrying liberal sites OR they would shut him down.

The same thuggery techniques by the FCC was done at FoxNews. Obama operatives are scattered everywhere in this government. Obama had eight years to position his people and now they're moving.

So much for draining the swamp.

Obama had 8 years. Trump has matched it under 2.

This goes back to my original point. If Trump supporters were smart, they would have waited til Trump surpassed 3%gdp before claiming Obama was a failure.

Economists is projecting the GDP to decrease for 2019, not increase.

So per Trump supporter logic, Trump is currently an economic failure.

You're dodging now.

This is about Drudge linking, and CNBC employing, John Harwood as a journalist and debate moderator.

CBO (congressional budget office) has nominal GDP estimated out through 2029:

2019: 4.3%
2020: 3.9%
2021: 3.6%
2021-2023: 3.8%
2024-2029: 3.9%

Answer honestly. If a Democrat said "we're gonna hit 3%" at their campaign rallies, and then hit 2.9% in their 2nd year, would the John Harwoods of the world be using language like "crashed into reality"?

No. But Trump never said "hit 3%". He claimed "4, 5, 6 percent". And I believe the success of the tax cuts depended on hitting 4% minimum in 2018.

The irony is that if Trump was only a little less aggressive on the tariffs then we would have easily hit 3%. I think damping down this year will be good in the long run as overjuicing this year would have left things flat going forward, it wasn't by intention.

Harwood used the 3% figure, then mocked Trump for only getting the 2.9% in his 2nd year. If you're saying Harwood should have cited 4, 5, or 6% then I take your point.

But in a general sense, I don't mind guys like Harwood being the leftist version of Hannity. Opinion-based guys. But here's a guy being linked as hard news, being allowed to moderate debates and interview candiates... how do you justify that? Same with Martha Raddatz who moderated general election debates, then cried on election night when Trump won. How do you say "that's ok"?

I agree that the trade war helped in the long run but hurt the 2018 GDP number. However, the increase in jobs and companies investing in the US is the best thing that could happen to to this country.

Trump is a POS conman. If you didn't have a queasy feeling when Trump won then you were ignorant or deplorable.

But people have been telling you that Drudge is a crappy site for years but you never cared because it reinforced your beliefs.

Durdge isn't a rag so there is that, and since you don't know that you probably don't know that 2.9% is pretty much the same as 3%. Today I made you a little bit smarter. You're welcome.

So Obama pretty much achieved 3% GDP growth? I did learn something.

Do you really think leftward mainstream media bias started when Trump ran for office?

Take Trump out of the equation. How did they treat W?

Hell, Harwood was trying to help Hillary defeat Jeb when Jeb was the presumed frontrunner. What did that have to do with Trump?

OBAMA IS AN ECONOMIC FAILURE FOR NOT ACHIEVING 3% ANNUAL GDP!

TRUMP IS AN ECONOMIC GENIUS FOR NOT ACHIEVING 3% Annual GDP!

Trump supporters are unbelievably stupid.

I don't go to Drudge anymore, I go over to Breitbart for the news. They're the only ones that tell it straight.
