That is unbelievably cold hearted thing to say. As someone that leans more towards the Liberal side of things I did respect his opinions without agreeing with them. Spiking the ball over someone's death is no way to garner a following for your ideas.

Your article was a fair criticism when it was published. Retweeting it years later with the caption "His impending death will make the world a safer, more competent place" is not only heartless but a surefire way for people to invalidate and dismiss anything you say.
