It was woke because the super majority of America does not like that music or genre anymore because the genre is filled with p Diddy shite. I know black people who no longer listen to rap music because of the p Diddy shite.

If you listen to the "dis" song and someone tells you who it's about, you realize he's on the right side. It sounds like he's calling out some pretty bad shite on another person.
I don't think you say some of those things if you're just mad at, or don't like someone.

I don't know if the purpose of the RW&B was to say it was built on the backs of blacks, but I at least thought its was semi-patriotic. So no complaints. It did sound a little hard to process, but had to watch/listen from work, so audio wasn't great. Plus at times it looked like he was "rapping" with his mouth shut. Kendrick does a lot of fast rap that doesn't carry to a stadium well, so maybe not the best packaging as far as audio goes. I do like Kendrick for the Swimming Pools (not played) and the dis track (played). Not encouraged to go see him live though.
As for halftime shows? I haven't been wowed by many; it's a spectacle for pop fans so not my bag anyways. I wouldn't say worst ever. I'd rather have sat through that than the Coldplay, Maroon 5 or Bruno Mars snoozers. I just don't care to listen to dudes that want to sound like, well not dudes. As said on one of these threads, probably Prince was the best in recent memory.
