This Democratic primary is going to be a mess

You could potentially have three different people winning the first three races. I could see Buttigieg winning Iowa, Sanders winning New Hampshire, and Biden winning South Carolina.

FIFU. That is where the fun starts

Good. May the all drain each other dry and then crash and burn!

Patrick and Bloomberg getting into the race will muddy the waters even more. They don’t have a snowballs chance in hell, but they could siphon enough votes that they make it more difficult for a front runner to get the needed delegates before the convention.

Now that Beto went belly up, I'm surprised that candidates previously thought to be strong like Harris and Booker aren't gaining at least some traction

Nobody ever thought Booker was a strong candidate.
And you’re the only one that thinks Harris is strong. Is the only reason you like her because she’s black? She doesn’t hold any positions on policy.

Wait until Hillary swoops in after the primaries and steals the nomination.

Pretty surprising buttplug is leading in Iowa of all places. Iowan Dems are a strange brew

There's blood in the streets, it's up to my ankles
Blood in the streets, it's up to my knee
Blood in the streets, the town of Milwaukee
Blood on the rise, at the DNC
The Doors song about the 1968 DNC riots in Chicago will be as relevant 52 years later and only 110 miles up I94.

Any one of the candidates could deliver the killshot to Biden's campaign easily, by calling him out on Ukraine/Hunter.
But that would also be the death blow to whoever called him out... and to the rest of them as well, since openly discussing the subject on a grand stage would give credence to everything the Bad Orange Man has been saying this whole time.
I'm really wondering which candidate will inevitably call Biden out though, and fully torpedo any chance the DNC might have had in 2020. You know they all know Biden and that's he's an idiot that can barely formulate a coherent sentence or remember what state he's in... so who will be in their campaign's death throes and sink the ship?

Despite all this preprimary talk, I'll bet it will all seem pretty orderly and definitive when we look back on it. I don't subscribe to chaos.

The only way the democrat party process will look orderly is if it has been rigged all along, which is exactly the sort of dishonest bullshite they are known for

I hope they put Bloomberg next to Warren on the debate stage when she starts going off on her wealth tax proposal.
