I would say Obama was highly successful with his second term. He laid the foundation for all the problems we are seeing today. He created the next step in weaponizing the federal agencies to go after political opposition. He used the federal government to strongarm and extort corporations to align with his ideology.
He legitimized the LGBTQ movement. He fanned the flames of racial strife. He allowed in millions from the third world. Many who hate our country. Their children are the radicals leading protests on college campuses. He did as he promised in fundamentally transforming America and making it weak.

The country is merely a reflection of its voters

We could fix things by simply replacing our congressmen and voting in better people. But it’s always the fault of someone else’s representatives. We always want spending cuts to affect someone else but not us.


We the People are just as complicit as anyone to the downfall of this nation

We preferable should get rid of congress and vote for ourselves. We don’t need reps. I’d gladly vote on every issue.

Right! How could it possibly be his fault? He is the victim here.
