I hope you guys don't use Netflix or other streaming services
I do and I did pre-2015. Tell me why NN was passed as a law in the first place.

WatchESPN didn't launch until late 2010. Maybe that's why you are for this since you clearly can't utilize the internet properly
ESPN's first streaming service launched in March, 2005 as "ESPN360" and "ESPN3."
They then changed the name and merged ESPN360/ESPN3 into a consolidated streaming service called WatchESPN in October, 2010 where just about all ESPN broadcasts can be streamed and viewed under the WatchESPN brand.

Somebody pull out an iPhone 6 and let's compare it to my iPhone X

To prevent things such as:
Data discrimination
Bandwith throttling
Ideas such as 'tiered internet'
To prevent what is happening in Portugal from happening to us.

There are like 40 page threads on the subject.
CLEARLY, "this board" has a difference of opinion on the subject. Anyone saying otherwise is the moron.

Somehow I was able to sign up and post on TD from 2008-2015 before our Lord and Savior Net Neutrality descended from heaven
I keep seeing posts like these. Why did this happen then?

Interesting.
I'm sure the number for donations trying to keep NN in place was $0

Yet you say they already price gouge. You think they can price gouge "EVEN MORE".
Do you see exactly what you are saying?? You sound like a complete moron.

Rules that ISP's honor net neutrality principles have always been in place until today. TD never comes to exist without net neutrality.

Access to all of those things could become slower.

Well, the issue is that this is another area that most of them have no clue about. Pride tells them to just agree with whatever the majority of trump supporters agree on, while logic, logic left a long time ago.
Yeah pretty much spot on.
89% of Democrats, 86% of Independents, and 75% of Republicans support NN. This is one of the few isssues with not only bipartisan support, but almost universal support.
But since Trump approves of repealing NN that’s the only validation they need.

Yea, that's the key word, they could. And what if they don't? More government?

What are you talking about? Most people here hate the decision.
I still can't get any of you to explain how the internet thrived without the regulation for the last 30 years.

They have been found to be doing it before so what are the odds they just spent all that money lobbying for the power and them not using it?
Posted on 12/14/17 at 3:19 pm to Greace
Sounds like some people are upset because they will have to start paying their fair share.
They were ok with having their gratuitous internet usage subsidized by other people.
