In 2008, there was no WatchESPN

2015? Lol alright
"Cable tv" poviders (like Directv) are starting streaming packages now. Before too long almost everything will be streamed.

Thanks for your input.
I didn't ask for it.
Guess NN repeal works.
Btw, why doesn't anyone ever bring Google fiber into the conversation?
I'm glad it's gone. Didn't need it. Don't want it. I don't own an isp. You do know the owner of cable companies are stockholders like you and your 401k right?

WatchESPN didn't launch until late 2010. Maybe that's why you are for this since you clearly can't utilize the internet properly

Let's say you and I each own a 2017 Nissan Altima
Should the price of gasoline be controlled in such a manner such that even though you routinely drive 120 MPH in your Altima (whereas I drive the speed limit with no "jackrabbit" starts in mine) that you should only spend the same amount per month on gasoline that I do?

Streaming services had not popped off. You don't wait for a problem to come before you address. You try to see coming problems and fix them before they happen. Everything has a steaming option now.

This was mostly a battle between the providers that built the infrastructure for the internet and the companies that use a disproportionate amount of the bandwidth, like Google or Netflix.
If the FCC regulates how they are supposed to pre NN then there really isn't much issue here. Occasionally companies may try to control bandwidth flow, examples including Comcast being caught a couple times governing speed to websites, including Netflix. As long as there is a big enough hammer to punish the providers if they get out of line things will be ok.
Really companies are getting pretty large and into everything. Their sizes may need to be reduced so there aren't such conflicts of interests being a possibility.

This is fricking rich. Amazing how every lib is freaking about this. Almost as if they're just going with whatever is against supposed conservative views.
