Well, something's already happened and it's a or perhaps even the intention of this whole thing. That would be the act of accutely placing these allegations into the collective consciousness of the voting public. How many people it will effectively reach and who all believes what, that remains to be seen. But there's no doubt, either "a" or "the" something has already occurred.

Great point. It keeps them off balance, especially since there's going to be the persistently lingering thought of what could be coming next and when. Leaving them not completely certain as to how to respond or address one matter, not knowing how that response could affect a later response to another matter. All sorts of possible nuanced problems for Biden and his helpers.

I think this was intentionally leaked early to test Facebook and Twitter's response. Now we know that their response is to completely remove the existence of the story, they are being called to testify in the Senate. Testifying in the Senate cant be hidden.
Hopefully this was all to prevent social media and Twitter from censoring these stories when they drop, right before the election.
