As evidenced in this very thread you can clearly see how gullible some people truly are. They forget all that shite once they receive their marching orders.

They've been complaining Trump has engaged in the "politics of fear" since he won the election.

But now it's a problem that he tried to instill calm and reduce panic?

If that's your only rebuttal, you're the ignorant one.

If the President was more forthcoming in February, there wouldn't have been the level of panic to justify bullshitting until the end of March.

It really comes across as Trump taking it very seriously and then meeting with his experts/advisors and it being talked down due to too little understanding.

Big picture perspective tells you that 189,000 deaths is horrible; however, that is still a very small percentage of the overall population. The President and his cabinet are having to solve serious problems that aren’t as easy as a hostile corrupt liberal media would like the citizens to believe.

Riots and lawlessness is wrong and stupid. What is your point?

One can believe in law and order and still believe the President is incompetent. I know that probably doesn't go down your throat that easily...

I can say from experience that I'd much rather go through COVID again than deal with having the flu. Outside of 2-3 hours of fever one night and feeling a bit sluggish the following day, the common cold is generally worse and lasts longer than what my COVID experience was.

No matter what he does it will never be enough to satisfy you and everyone else that fights his every move. He shut down travel from China and everyone fought that and called him every name in the book. I mean people went as far as to concoct a fake study on medicine that has been taken for over a half of a century just because Trump said it was promising but Orange Man Bad. If you don't think there is a problem with that level of deception then I don't know what else to tell you. Those are human rights violations and frick anyone trying to run cover for these lunatic dems that is hell bent on attacking Trump 24/7 no matter the cost.

Fauci himself was the one that said not to worry about masks then months later they want people to wear them. GTFOH

You're generalizing way too much, man. What you see done between politicians everyday is NOT a reflection of what people feel day to day. I've long thought Trump was incompetent and needed a strong cabinet around him, but that got squandered. Even still, at the onset of the pandemic in MARCH, I told folks in the Bama board that then wasn't a good time to criticize his every move because the public doesn't have the same information federal leadership has. I sided with supporting him in a time of crisis because they need support of their people and reassurance that we're all in this together. Just like during and after 9/11.

Now that we know more, my opinion has changed. Because that's what smart people do...change opinions with new facts.

So you can get the frick on somewhere withith the emotional generalizations. NO PRESIDENT IS BEYOND CRITICISMS when he has proven to have made a mistake. These people are not football teams. They are elected to protect America, period.

Latching ones self to a politician to where you can't criticize a mistake is NOT healthy.

Use a 4-day Least Squares leveling to hide the fact that 100% of the effect comes from a single day of uber-testing.

Then end the study - right when the data no longer shows the effect you want.

They don’t *have* it, adults, policy makers & the media have just scared them into the hospital.

This is child abuse.

Are you honestly surprised he'd lie?

He knew this would be bad either way because all defenses at the source (China) were removed and all previous defense plans were abandoned. We went 2 years re-organizing and removing staffing from China that could have curtailed this.

People who understand what happened with Covid, Trump pulling out of China, and the early lies are going to struggle to support him. It’s why his polling with seniors, the most at risk population by age, is down. Biden will hammer him on “Trump lie, 200,000 people died.”
