Their grandson Dylan is like totally zoned out on prescription drugs and they don't really care.

Maybe because grandson Dylan has stolen everything from their house that he could get his hands on for drug money.

Multiple chances...multiple rehabs...at a certain point you just have to say frick grandson Dylan.

Would love to have a conversation with your old man. Sounds like a great guy. Probably has many great stories.

I was a Tucker fan, but he’s becoming less relevant and he’s lashing out.

Re Gen Z and Boomers, Gen Z needs to get over it. Every generation has their cross to bear. Boomers had Vietnam, gas lines/rationing, and double digit interest rates on homes and autos. Gen Z wants instant gratification and is annoyed that they have to wait for it. Relax - when your parents die you’ll be the recipients of the largest transfer of wealth in human history.

Boomer haters are amongst the worst of our society. They really hate themselves, but it somehow makes them feel better to blame old people.

But there is no single, monolithic "they" among all Americans of a certain age

No one is saying you shouldn’t enjoy your retirement, but the mindset you just outlined is indicative of that generation and won’t be missed at all.

Or maybe the mindset is that...after multiple generations have passed on more to the next one, building a sizeable nest egg...and you look at little 18-28 year old jimmy/jane, shacked up with 4 friends, no job, no college, high half the time, playing video games...no plans at all.

Maybe you think they are just waiting for me to die so they can piss away 3 generations of hard work.

That's when you realize...I think I'll spend some of that on myself.

I'm short of being a boomer but I guess about 5 years. But in their defense. They arent the ones who put Dylan on prescription drugs. They arent the ones who taught Dylan that he was special. They arent the ones who prevented Dylan from experience loss in sports when he was 7 years old and basically defended Dylan from ever having to feel discomfort as much as possible. They arent the ones who stunted Dylan's growth and ability to navigate difficulties within Society. So if Dylan is fricked up he probably needs to have a discussion with his Gen X parents or even Millennial parents

I should add that the Boomers aren't the ones who ingrained into Dylan that he was naturally bad just because he was a boy. And that the best way he could go about behaving correctly was if he behaved more like a girl

OMG...POST OF THE YEAR....
Gen Z is soft because their non-Boomer parents wrecked them with softness and helicoptering and excuses....this interview is just more of that...These little pale, lazy, crybabies will inherit a shite ton of wealth. SHUT THE frick UP and go do something more than whine curled up in the fetal position. Working with these entitled shits is painful and downright embarrasing..

Theyre really not at all. Boomers are just obese fat losers that prop up our horrible government welfare programs to benefit themselves at everyone else's expense and then have the audacity to shite talk younger generations being forced into the retarded institutions they managed and allowed to degrade into corrupt DEI daycares.

This is on top of the insane off shoring and under the table illegal immigrant employees they have NO problem undercutting the opportunities for wealth for younger generations.

Fat, wealthy, resentful, ignorant, and completely ungrateful.

Gen X here with boomer parents that started with freeking zero.

WOrked their asses off. Saved and lived below means.
We didnt go to beach. We went to creek.
We didnt eat out, we at in. ALways+
Didnt driver new cars ect.

They may not have ever made much over a 100k between them but ended up worth a couple mil.

I know its harder now for the same thing to happen, times have changed, but I dont know how you can blame them.

Today people cannot see apast the phones and next week. Its amazing.

By looking at their voting patterns since they came of voting age.

Politics has been dominated by the boomer demo voting for their own benefit.

Gen x sucks dude - they can't even force the boomers out and are still letting them run the country at 80+ years old
Then they are pretty much letting millennials pass over them in positions of power

Yeah ok. If it were not for X'r the wheels would have fallen off already.

Exactly the same here. I was the first person on either side of my family to ever graduate from college.

Boomers would typically be grandparents and even great grandparents to Gen Z. HTF is the stretch being made to blame them for Gen Z’s issues?

Where are the Millennial parents? What about them?
