Its just obnoxious to see them beat their chest for no reason, they were given a golden goose and slaughtered it instead of being happy with the eggs
They did this because they don't have empathy. They are, by and large, the most self-centered, self-righteous generation.

Probably a good thing. They just would have phagged up the place with rainbow flags.

Boomers literally did all this. Boomers bailed out themselves MULTIPLE times. Boomers decided an artificial market that always goes up > natural economic cycles that preserves the value of your currency.
Damn Millinneals and Gen Z and their socialist ideas voting in TARP in 08...QE 1-4...covid lockdowns

Says the boomer who supported feminism and gay marriage. Thanks for laying that on us. Please go die now

Thats fair enough. The numbers tell the story, and the story is it costs more than 2x as much to have the same relative quality of life they had, all while the average man is making 15% less income

Then why are you friken complaining about another generation then, Karen? What’s the problem? What’s the issue?
The issue is I care about my fellow Americans a little more than "frick you I got mine" which seems to be about all the boomer apologists in this thread. But I guess that makes me stupid?
I want other people to do well economically too, rising tide lifts all boats, including mine.
Whoever above me said boomers inherited a golden goose and killed it instead of being happy with the eggs 100% nailed it.

Spot on. They dont get it, they dont like the truth that social security and medicaid/medicare needs to be cut because they think they paid their fair share in. They did not, and they created a society that is poorer than the one they inherited

Median car: $7200, inflation adjusted $29,800

Median 4 year degree (total of 4 years): $3600, inflation adjusted $14,900

The GOVERNMENT did all of this. I purposely listed things that have been going on for over 50 years and started before the boomers came into power. Hate the government control and largesse - not a generation of people.
Don’t be a useful idiot.

Nooooowwwwww who’s patting themselves on the back??
Let’s ask Google AI about charity shall we?
quote:
While Baby Boomers are known for donating the most overall, Gen Z is increasingly recognized for its strong philanthropic values and innovative giving approaches.
quote:
Baby Boomers: They are the generation that donates the most in terms of total dollars, with 43% of charitable giving coming from this group.
Whoops.
Not a whole lot of bragging on the Millennials there is it?

All emotions, all of the time. The other clown crying about empathy. Just a weak group.

A 30 year old in 1980 had about a $400,000 head start over a 30 year old today in inflation adjusted dollars. I would hope you guys would be leading the charge in donation dollars

Don’t know who “you guys” are, but I’m two years from being a millennial.
And deflection is noted. From “they are greedy and don’t give shite!!!” Right to “well I’d hope they gave the most!! “

Dont even bother with these people. Ive argued with these same people with actual numbers and data for pages and pages before. Their responses never change.
-Boomers did nothing wrong
-So what, deal with it
-millennials are socialist/gay/lazy

Not sure why you waste your time here. Your whining would be way more receptive with all the homos on Reddit.
