we have a democrat in office that HAS done 95 percent of what the skyscreamers claimed Trump did while in office. Breathlessly they claimed “OH OH OHHH HE COULD BE COMPROMISED!!” While Joe has been actually shown to have taken funds from Ukraine (who he is sending billions to) and from China (who he has been awfully nice to). Yet.. nothing.
So this “what if a democrat did it” ship has sailed looooooong ago.
The proper question to be asked is “What if they actually HAD on Trump what they HAVE on Joe?”

State governments are broken as well. Don't forget that elections are left up to the states to oversee, yet several of them had record levels of fraud and questionable electronic results.
I do agree with the general consensus, but the rights of states were dead and buried over 150 years ago. This is not the Republic that was founded. We are a quasi-Democracy controlled by oligarchical elite that resides over the largest empire in human history. They will never cede power.

I imagine, that if I really believed that a candidate I supported just beat another handily, and looked like the same matchup was coming the next election, I would be very comfortable and secure with American politics.
I’ve already watched the left lose and cry foul, and do illegal things to try and remove the president with zero repercussion. We all did. They were not held accountable. The reaction was not the same, I don’t need to use my imagination.
