The only difference between Shannon Sharpe and a particularly large specimen of limestone rock is that Sharpe played football.

Why is he not allowed to be apolitical? What if he did vocally support Trump? Would he be left alone or would they try to tear him down in the media?

Tom Brady is 3 of the things leftists have the most contempt for...

Successful

White

Male

So we've got to jump start the discussion about how problematic he is.

Tom should walk out in a Klan hood....I mean, that's basically what the media wants.

Because he isn’t apolitical. Do you think a MAGA hat isn’t political?

The media is completely covering for him already so idk.

I was a bit torn on which team to cheer for on Sunday, both having LSU guys, but now I’m leaning Tampa.

Wondering...have any blm supporting players been asked specifically about blm riots, property destruction, deaths, racism and anti-American Marxist views?

He's not, he had a hat in his locker. Other than that, I've never heard Tom utter a word about politics.

I see commentators are interested in continuing the decline of the NFL.

More reason I'm happy to not watch any football this season.

A Trump Campaign hat

Is that not political?

Of course it is.

Nonsense.

No sense is pretending a MAGA hat isn’t a political statement.

shite people call him MAGA Tom on this website.

And while trump supporters claim to be victims and persecuted for their beliefs he seems to skate by.

Isn’t that weird to anyone else? You can support his right to wear a MAGA hat but you don’t think it’s crazy that he never gets asked about it? Or maybe he does, but they aren’t asking the most prominent trump supporter in the NFL about trump.

LOL. That is absolute BS. 100 complete BS and he knows it. And the libs download this as fact.

Warnock got ELECTED in GA spewing the same thing that Farrakhan does. How quiet were black athletes and actors were about him?

And who is the last president to get elected with it known he has been friends with known Weather Underground members and went to a “church” with a pastor on tape saying “____ Damn America!”

Tom Brady’s politics aren’t the problem. It’s his refusal to recognize that his ability to enter and exit the debate when he chooses, to shield himself from accountability, is a privilege that Black and brown athletes don’t have.

That is such BS. I don’t think Drew Brees wanted to enter the BLM debate and he certainly wasn’t shielded from accountability.

If black athletes don’t want to talk about politics:

A. Don’t make political statements
B. Reporters like her can stick to questions about sports

Tom's answer to this should be to flip it and say you know what my whiteness did protect me because leftists destroy minority Trump supporters in fact they deny their blackness, you ain't black if you don't vote for Joe.

They’d try to cancel anybody with the just mere mention of Mister Farrakhan’s name."

Can anybody name 1 black celebrity who has lost anything being associated with Farrakhan? This is the biggest straw man ever and proves the opposite of the point he’s trying to make. The only thing black athletes can be canceled over is criminal behavior. White athletes can be canceled for criminal behavior, and literally anything else some SJW writer decides is important at the moment.

Again, so what if the hat is a political statement? Is he not allowed to display it? What people may call him is irrelevant. Has Tom claimed victimhood of any sort?
