Inflation is now around 30% so what do you do, well raise the price of gasoline 50%. When the rioting starts you then shut down the internet.

These latest sanctions are killing them. Last year in Sept they exported about 2 million barrels a day, this Sept 400,000, an 80% drop. And it isnt for lack of production, they now have 55 million barrels of oil in tankers sitting offshore, so the Saudis blasted one in retaliation for their sabotage last month.

Choosing to starve your economy to fund terrorism isnt looking like the smartest decision, particularly when your people have seen all the revolts all around them.

So we are pushing them to war I see.

I like how economic sanctions hurt the guy on the street and we celebrate or blame the people. Those people have no say in shite for real leaders. So sanctions cause nothing but harm for them and ultimately for others. I'm sure those people will be gassed or worse if it continues.

Closer to war. Saudi Arabia is the leader in funding of terror by the way. Ask 911 victims.

When option B is a nuclear war, I think Ill stick with sanctions and let their people fix the situation for us. They got themselves into it, they can get themselves out of it.

Now if you want to talk about Cuba and how we are still punishing their people for something that happened 60 years ago, thats a different story.

You do realize this nation, U.S.A., was founded because the people were disenfranchised with the British government and those people rose up against their motherland and gained their independence?

Economic sanctions are a tool that has been used since the beginning of modern time.

It's either sanctions, do nothing, or war.

Countries need to know their actions come with consequences

That's ironic.

When will we learn our actions come with consequences?

The current regime in Iran is consequence of our actions.

I guess Venezuela is our fault also?

What about the USA? Whose fault is it that we elected OBAMA?
Do citizens have any responsibility or can they just blame external forces?

The sanctions are causing an uprising of people trying to overthrow the leaders.

I will say that we should have made an exception to the sanctions for medicine, because I have read some terrible stories of people dying needlessly after their meds were blocked off with the sanctions, but overall, the sanctions are appropriate and have produced the desired result.

All the migrants running from their “s**thole” countries need to stay and have revolutions. They need to take the power back. Would a lot of people die. Yep. But that’s how it goes.

Think about how prosperous Mexico COULD be.

And as a side note: Muslims who are TRULY “moderate” need to rethink that Quran and make a new one that’s not morbid and sick.

Or they could take over their govt. It happens. But we cant allow a nation to participate in the world economy when they are threatening nuclear attack. Surely you see that.

Iran is a pretty country with a lot of history. Some decent pro American people there too.
Sad thing is the theocracy in charge is our enemy.
If the people overthrow the theocracy. We could again have a relatively strong middle east ally in them.
Check out "Indigo traveler's" videos on Iran. Dude is a Kiwi but when people thought he was American they were being really friendly with him.
