These lazy govt workers need to stop whining

They get better pay and benefits than most in the private sector and a good chunk of them do little work. They really need to just STFU and find another job if they dont like the current situation.

There plenty of bright, dedicated people who work for the government. As just one example, I have a friend (a former police officer) who literally puts his life at risk on the job during certain assignments and continues to work without pay. I'm not so sure I'd do the same.

Yeah funny how everyone says fake news then when they read something that is fake saying fed employees make more they believe it. I took more than a 40% pay cut when I took a public job, but for me it wasn’t for the money. Made enough and saved enough in the private sector that it didn’t factor much into my decision.
In 2018 I worked New Years, July 4th, Labor Day, and Christmas and lost over 160 hours in vacation because I had so much going on last year I didn’t have much opportunity to take it.
I also love what I do and have some pretty unique opportunities so many of my trips for work are like paid vacations.

Had a controller coming in when I left today. Overtime for them. Sixth day. No paycheck. The FAA is moving 43,000 flights per day. Put on a headset and let’s see what you got, big boy.

I am guessing you didnt know some of those "lazy govt workers" will get court martialed and possibly prison time for doing this.

I am a federal worker. I can assure you, public relations people make far more than I do in the private sector.
