Plus, Bill Clinton had already accepted half a million dollars from Russia so that his wife could help the Russians get their hands on our uranium. If they truly wanted to investigate a Russian connection, they could have started here.

In this case, the investigation was started, but not concluded. I don't know how it could possibly be categorized as a coup attempt.
Apparently they decided Trump wasn't insane enough to use the 25th amendment remedy.

So what if this isn't technically an attempted coup. The Deputy AG suggested to FBI and DOJ higher ups that the President be wiretapped in conjunction with a Section 4, 25th Amendment claim, despite the fact that DJT was neither mentally nor physically incapacitated. They then fed this info to their media allies who ran with the story. These people believe themselves to be untouchable. It's absolutely despicable.

They wire tapped and unmasked U.S. Civilians.
They used foreign agencies to spy on Americans.

McCabe did NOT say that Rosenstein often offered to wear a wire in support of the 25th amendment scenario. He simply said that it occurred during the same conversation, in which Russian collusion/agency was also discussed. It seems more likely that the “wire” Was related to the Russia issue, instead.

They just said on Fox that the offer to wear a wire was in relation to Obstruction of Justice for firing Comey.
So not the 25th or Russia.
Sounds like RR was gonna try to get Trump to admit he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation.
