nope, he didnt stick to the damn issues. If he does he kills Joe even more.
DJT should have boasted about what he's done for blacks during his term and then told Joe to explain his "racial jungle" comment.

Why couldn’t he just say “I condemn white supremacists”?

Because it's the same kind of intimidation bullshite that the BLM and Antifa crowd did to the lady at the restaurant. Publicly display fealty to my position or else! And the white supremacist angle is a completely manufactured one. The point of the question is to get Trump to agree that white supremacy is a problem in this country, when there are literally thousands of more pressing issues to be discussed.

you think his response prevented the DEMs and media from saying this?

he gave them MORE ammo this morning, and it's headline news this morning.

no it doesn't....where the frick do you people come up with this bullshite.

How many fricking militias are there?

Jesus christ, yall are as bad as the other side that thinks white supremacists are the issue. DO you really think that militias are going to be the swing vote that wins the election????

WTF is wrong with yall????!!!!

Let me make sure I am understanding you correctly. You are saying Trump should just go ahead and throw his supporter groups under the bus and call them white supremacists, because it won't effect the vote? If so, you're a shitty person. Trump is not, and he will not disparage these good people, nor should he. He defends his guys. I much prefer that than someone who will allow his people to be destroyed in order to better himself.

Also way to show your very narrow way of thinking. You believe that white supremacy, aka racism, is not an issue? You can't be that daft. In a time when Trump is pulling in 20% of the black vote, you have to be truly ignorant to think that the image of him supporting white supremacists wouldn't effect that. It absolutely is an issue, because the dems keep making it one.

This. I'm watching it on Cspan youtube, and it's so ridiculous how this played out. Why in the heck does white supremacy even come up considering the current events are being dominated by at least 2 other groups?

Would you rather Trump keep this stance and lose or be a smarter politician and win?

Which do you think is the better avenue for Trump winning in November?

These are not the only two options. In no way do I want Trump to wrongfully label a group of people as racists. That's fricking evil. I am glad he defended and tried to distance them from the KKK.

He didn't handle the question well, nor did he screw it up. It didn't lose him the election though. You're just being influenced by the leftist propaganda machine this morning telling you that he didn't condemn WS and that he lost this election due to it.

The Gaslight Media must've picked up on the "white supremacist" crap after the debate last night....I got an email from yahoo this morning that wanted me to participate in an online vote to have the government officially declare the KKK a terrorist organization.

It's crazy, I've yet to see any real presence of any white supremacist groups/organizations for decades. Occasionally there'll be something on the news about some small gathering of neo nazis or maybe the KKK but these groups are inconsequential when stacked up against BLM/antifa.

What is the cost of Trump saying he denounces white supremacists groups?

You’re proving my point, right? There’s no cost to him denouncing them.

Could lose minority votes (which he bragged about) if he fails to denounce them. And he did fail to denounce them.

At some point Trump needs to stop answering questions about this. Certainly at press conferences. The man is a sitting president people can judge him based on his policies. He does not need to prove to people how not racist he is.

Notice that there is little attack on his policies but rather on his words.

Yep, he should have laid it out clearly, made Joe denounce those groups, make Joe defend his use of the N word, his anti busing stance and all the other bullshite Joe has done.

It wasnt a softball, it was a damn beachball.

How the frick did we even get to this white supremacist shite? Because a violent felon junkhead OD'ed in the street? Because a drug pusher was in the crossfire initiated by her own boyfriend? Because a suspected rapist and a drunk driver refused to comply with law enforcement?

fricking serious?

It was a softball question that he could have used to end a narrative and could have flipped and asked Biden to denounce BLM and Antifa

He did in fact ask Biden why he and his party have not denounced Antifa and haven't reached out to the democrat mayors/governors and urged them to denounce those groups and the violence they are causing. Biden's response was "It's not my job. I'm not in office." He is the self proclaimed leader of the democratic party. It is his job to work with the democratic mayors and governors of these cities because they are so hell bent on defying Trump they will never listen to him. The second he tries to talk to them about these groups they scream racism.

I did not say they were. I was asking you to make a choice between those 2 options within this thread.

I never said it did

You're just being influenced by the leftist propaganda machine

The "leftist propaganda machine" I haven't reviewed and whose content I haven't consumed?

I rarely even watch these debates b/c they're so worthless, but the only commentary I saw was the post-debate comments on NBC for like 5-10 minutes. They didn't really offer much b/c they were all in a daze and confused at what they just saw. Hardly this influence you're imputing onto me considering that's all I've seen.

wallace is left wing POS. the jobs question his popped trump on with zero contaxt was an apples to pineapples comparison i had just discussed with a family member days before. he never mentioned total job numbers..... he tried a gotcha by obamas jobs RE gained after tanking versus new highs were trump has led us. it was dirty as shite and void of context.

The best answer would have been "I just put the KKK on the terrorist list, along with Antifa."
