Nobody is exempt from the inflation tax.

They will fail to cover the government spending as usual. Also, while a cut in spending can sometimes result in an increase in taxes collected due to an increase in the economy, it's certainly no guaranteed and has as much to do with existing conditions as always.
Otherwise, the ideal tax rate around the world would be 1% or less.
As usual, the Trump defenders are counting wins before they happen. And I'm guessing as usual, we'll be disappointed when reality hits.
