There was never an executive policy for that - the CDC is "supposed" to be in charge of determining the proper health related policy.
Trump fought hard against the over-reactions = but he did not sic the DOJ onto the personnel responsible for the 'health emergency' declarations.
In retrospect, we would have been better off had he completely disavowed anything that originated from the Fauci cult.
Hard to do in the preliminary stages of what appears to be an "existential pandemic" - and with his non-support from the media, there is no way he could have successfully done that anyway. He was castigated at every turn when he tried to question any of the idiocy coming from the CDC and NIH etc

We really need to put some immediate accountability onto those positions like Fauci held - he could not be fired - That is unacceptable - he ran amok for two years with no real ability to oppose.
